Departmental Personal Assistant

The Trans-European Division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking to employ a full-time Personal Assistant at its international headquarters in St. Albans.


The successful applicant will support the smooth running of Departments (https://ted.adventist.org/departments/), with responsibilities including: handling correspondence and telephone enquiries, minute-taking, filing, and record-keeping, writing newsletters and proofreading, digital design work and website maintenance, assisting with conference and event organisation.


Essential qualities include strong interpersonal skills, initiative, tact, the ability to maintain confidentiality. Professional skills include secretarial competence, good organisational skills, proficiency in both written and verbal English at a high level, strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), proficiency with digital design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express and to carry out tasks autonomously based on given guidelines.


A right to work in the United Kingdom. Salary and benefits are according to the Trans-European Division Remuneration Scale (details available upon application).
