Albanian Mission’s (AM) President, Delmar Reis, shared their OneVoice27 evangelism strategy with communication, media and IT professionals and church leaders during GAiN Global, held from 8 to 11 July,  in Auckland, New Zealand. Reis was the only presenter from the Trans-European Division (TED) among representatives from across the Seventh-day Adventist world church who shared communication and mission initiatives during the event.

His presentation outlined how the AM is combining spiritual preparation, member mobilisation, digital media and community outreach to connect with people across Albania and invite them to study the Bible. The strategy was developed after the AM’s pastoral team began meeting weekly in April 2026 to shape a shared vision for OneVoice27. Rather than creating a plan led by one person, the team worked together to identify goals, responsibilities and practical approaches to evangelism.

“We decided as a pastoral team to build the vision together,” Reis said. “OneVoice27 is a great opportunity to engage our members, reach people across Albania, share Jesus and invite people to study the Bible and become part of a community where they can belong.”

The initiative includes regular prayer, the preparation of Bible study materials, member training, community activities and the development of digital resources for social media and messaging platforms.

Reis explained that digital communication is particularly important for the AM because of its relatively small membership and its desire to reach people throughout the country. The AM has developed studios where its team can create short videos and other resources tailored to Albanian culture and everyday life. The content is intended to address topics such as family relationships, personal challenges, suffering and spiritual questions.

The resources will be shared through the AM’s social media platforms and made available for church members to distribute through WhatsApp and other messaging apps.

“We want to produce simple, contextualised content that connects with the Albanian reality,” Reis said. “The aim is to reach people who may not yet be looking to study the Bible, but who have needs and questions. We want to create curiosity and open the way for meaningful conversations.”

As part of the continuing development of its media ministry, the AM is also taking steps to become an official affiliate of Hope Channel. “We are in the process of becoming an official Hope Channel network affiliate,” Reis said. “This will help strengthen our ability to produce content for the Albanian context and support the wider OneVoice27 mission.”

The AM plans to introduce OneVoice27 formally to church members on 5 September. Members will then be invited to register, receive training and take part according to their spiritual gifts and areas of interest. Some participants will support the initiative through prayer, while others will help by responding to online enquiries, visiting people who express an interest in learning more about the Bible and welcoming first-time visitors into local congregations.

Reis said the initiative is designed to equip members to support people at every stage of their spiritual journey, from making the first connection online to welcoming them into a local church community.

“From my perspective, this is a call from the Holy Spirit,” Reis said. “We will pray, we will work, and we will ask the Holy Spirit to fulfil His will in Albania.”
