Newbold College of Higher Education is set to celebrate its 125th anniversary from 26 to 28 June 2026 at its campus in Bracknell, United Kingdom, with a special event bringing together alumni, church leaders, students and friends, marking more than a century of Adventist education, mission and community impact.

The anniversary programme will feature worship services, historical reflections, musical performances and time for fellowship, designed to honour the institution’s heritage while looking ahead to its future role in training leaders for the Adventist Church and wider society.

The event will highlight Newbold’s journey since its founding in 1901, when it began as a training school for missionaries, to its present status as an internationally recognised Adventist College serving students from across the world. This milestone is not only a time of celebration but also an opportunity for “honouring our past and inspiring the future,” Newbold noted in its event materials, pointing to the College’s continued emphasis on faith, service and academic excellence.

Attendees will have access to on-campus accommodation, including single and shared options, as well as catered meal packages, enabling visitors to fully participate in the anniversary programme. Organisers have made provisions for guests travelling from across the UK and internationally, with registration available online.

The anniversary programme is expected to attract an international audience, including alumni returning from across the Trans-European Division and beyond, as well as the President of the Seventh-day Adventist world church, Elder Erton C. Köhler. Attendees will take part in a series of activities reflecting the College’s spiritual and educational legacy, including storytelling sessions, exhibitions and moments of thanksgiving.

Newbold College has provided an information pack, as well as additional information on its website.
