TED Report to the 62nd General Conference Session, 2025

Commentary July 9, 2025

08 July 2025, St Louis, USA [Daniel Duda]

Dear brothers and sisters from around the world,

It is a real privilege to stand here and share with you the story of God’s mission in the Trans-European Division (TED)  over the past three years.

These last three years have been anything but ordinary. We have faced the consequences of a global pandemic, a war that has directly impacted people in our territory, a cost-of-living crisis, and the growing influence of secularism, post-modernism, relativism, and pluralism. Yet in the midst of all this, God has continued to work.

We have seen young people stepping up to lead, churches reaching out in creative and courageous ways, and communities coming together to serve and support one another. We have witnessed active ADRA teams responding powerfully, and our pastors and members remaining faithful, even when the road was tough.

This report is not about ecclesiastical programmes or numbers. It is about people. It is about telling the story of faith. It is about the extraordinary things God can do through ordinary women and men who say yes to His calling—people who allow the Holy Spirit to use them.

Before we show you our video, let me say one more thing. Around 55% of our budget comes from world church appropriations. So we want to thank you—our global family—for standing with us in mission. Although we receive appropriations, we also give more to our fields than we receive. Your contributions support frontline mission work in our part of the world.

On behalf of the Trans-European family, thank you for supporting us in God’s mission. Thank you for the missionaries you have sent us! We still believe the Gospel changes lives—and we remain committed to sharing that hope across our region and beyond.

The work is not finished—there is still much to be done. But we move forward with confidence, because we serve a great God who is already at work ahead of us through His Spirit.

And now, rather than just tell you about it, we’d like to show you. Here is a glimpse into the people, places, and mission of the Trans-European Division over the past three years. This is His story—God’s story—across TED.

Thank you, and enjoy the video.
