News May 3, 2023

03 April 2023 | St. Albans [Daniel Duda]

On behalf of the members of the Trans-European Division, I want to express our deepest condolences to the families whose children were killed in Belgrade, Serbia on Wednesday morning 3 May as a result of a mass shooting. To the families of those killed in a further mass shooting on Thursday evening 04 May in the Smederevo area (60km south of Belgrade), I also express our deepest condolences.

We also express our care and concern for the wounded, with the hope that they recover quickly.

Together with all the citizens of Serbia we too are shocked and saddened by the events of this week.

We pray that the God of comfort will come close to all at this time of deep distress.

We also lift up all those who are ministering to those affected by this tragedy.
