Updated 5 September 2017 | St Albans, UK [TED staff]  On Monday, 27 June 2016, the Administrative Committee of the Trans-European Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church received and accepted the resignation of János Kovács-Bíró as TED Youth Ministries Director.

Kovács-Bíró shared with the administration that he had been going through a very trying period which affected his ministry and stated that he is deeply sorry for any unintended harm or disappointment that his recent actions may have caused to the Church or those within his circle of influence. While fully respecting his privacy, the TED administration also noted that Kovács-Bíró is no longer eligible to engage in employment as an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The leadership would continue to ask the Church family to respect that privacy and to remember him and his family in prayer.

Kovács-Bíró had served as Youth director since July 2015. Before that he was director for Church Planting and Evangelism. In September 2016 Zlatko Musija was elected as Youth director in the TED. [tedNEWS]
