The Adventist Church in Poland launched OneVoice27 under the name #JestNadzieja (“There Is Hope”) on 5 September 2026, alongside the initiative’s worldwide launch. The initiative aims to bring local outreach, education, social support, health and media activities together around a shared message of hope throughout 2027.

In Poland, the launch also marked the start of 40 Days of Prayer, intended to help local churches, leaders and members prepare spiritually for the project.

Preparing for mission together

Plans for OneVoice27 were explored further at two consecutive conferences held on the campus of the Polish College of Theology and Humanities in Podkowa Leśna, Poland. The National Conference of Local Church Elders took place on 19–20 September 2026, followed by the National Pastors’ Conference on 21–23 September. Participants reflected on contemporary challenges facing the church, looked ahead to 2027 and considered how different ministries could contribute to collaborative mission initiatives.

Both conferences opened with a devotional message by Jarosław Dzięgielewski, Polish Union Conference (PUC) president. He reflected on how differences in religious practice, spirituality and individual experiences can become sources of judgement and division.

Drawing on the biblical stories of Cain and Abel and the early church’s experience at Pentecost, he contrasted a spirituality focused primarily on oneself with a community united around God and His presence. He asked participants to consider whether Christ is the perspective through which they view one another, the Adventist Church and its mission. His message introduced the conferences’ theme of unity amid diversity.

The main speaker at both conferences was Tihomir Lazic, who focused on “Different, Yet Together”. In his presentations, he drew attention to the growing diversity within contemporary Adventism, the need for shared discernment of God’s will, and the importance of building community despite differences in experience, perspective and ways of thinking. These themes reflected the idea behind OneVoice27: the church acting together while preserving the diversity of its members and the needs of local communities.

The #JestNadzieja web platform, developed by Marek Micyk, PUC Adventist Mission director, helps churches and leaders plan activities and prepare spiritually for mission in 2027

Marek Micyk, PUC Adventist Mission director, outlined the aims of #JestNadzieja, introduced its Polish visual identity and explained how different church initiatives could work towards a shared mission in 2027. He also introduced a web application he developed specifically for #JestNadzieja. Available at jestnadzieja.adwent.pl, it brings together initiatives undertaken by local churches, departments and church institutions. The platform helps churches and leaders plan activities and prepare spiritually for their implementation.

Social outreach, health and education

During the conferences, selected church departments and institutions also presented their work and plans for the coming year. Karolina Wójcik-Kozłowska, ADRA Poland president, outlined the organisation’s broad range of social and humanitarian activities. These include support for children, young people, adults and older people, vocational and language courses, and initiatives for migrants. ADRA Poland also provides counselling, emotional support and other mental health assistance for people facing difficult life circumstances or crises.

Beata Śleszyńska, PUC Health director, presented the “Blue Zones” project, an exhibition promoting healthy living. The initiative has been developed so that local churches and communities can also use it as a practical tool for health education and outreach.

Adam Grześkowiak presented the plans of the Polish College of Theology and Humanities, which is entering its centenary year. The institution is developing new academic programmes and international partnerships, including master’s degree studies with Andrews University and a postgraduate course entitled “Media in the Mission of the Church” in cooperation with Southern Adventist University.

Media and publishing

Tomasz Szydłowski, Hope Media Poland’s Media director, presents plans to support #JestNadzieja through digital content and new media projects in 2027

Hope Media Poland, established in March 2025 through the merger of several Adventist publishing, broadcasting and bible correspondence institutions in Poland, outlined its plans for supporting #JestNadzieja in 2027. By bringing several ministries together under one brand, it aims to make its message of hope more accessible, relevant and engaging, particularly for younger generations. Its strategy includes developing content for people outside the church, those interested in Christianity and Adventism, church members and Adventists actively engaged in mission.

Existing projects include Hope Biblia, which uses social media, engaging content and practical reflections to help people explore Scripture and relate biblical teachings to everyday life. Hope Kościół shares stories from local congregations and highlights the Adventist Church’s life, mission and community service. A planned digital radio initiative, Hope Radio, will offer music, conversations, personal stories and programmes exploring faith and everyday life. It aims to reach listeners who may not engage with traditional church media.

Other existing and planned initiatives include Hope Archiwum, KomPas, Sensoholik, ReMindEd, 180 Stories, 28.church and Survival Lessons, alongside an influencer-focused channel and an institutional Hope Media Polska channel. These form part of a broader strategy to reach different audiences through digital platforms and creative formats. The plans also include Hope Media Academy, developed in cooperation with KOMPAS Adventist Secondary School, which will offer practical classes in video production, podcasting, social media and online journalism.

Hope Media Polska is also undergoing a wider transformation, integrating its media, publishing and educational activities under one organisation. The aim is to coordinate these activities to make its message of hope more accessible, relevant and engaging, particularly for younger generations.

Together, these activities are intended to help Hope Media Poland bring media, publishing, education and mission together, while supporting the shared direction of #JestNadzieja.
