Twenty-seven students and six staff volunteers from Newbold College distributed food to the homeless on the streets of Athens during a 10-day mission trip to Greece, 21 March to 2 April.

Students partnered with the youth in Athens, particularly helping those individuals who find themselves living on the streets.

“I was impressed thatNewbold Greek Mission Homeless Ministry the homeless people were so open and wanted to share their experiences with us,” said Fulvia Ruocco, an English Language student. “It made me think we should focus on the simple things in life such as helping people in need.”

The group of volunteers also carried out restorative work to wooden cabins located at the Greek Mission’s campsite in Kalamos.
