Newbold College of Higher Education has launched Newbold Connect, a digital learning platform built to help people live their faith beyond worship and into ordinary life. The platform opened to the public on the evening of Saturday 27 June 2026, during the College’s 125th anniversary weekend.
Many people find that faith feels real during worship services but less so in everyday life. Newbold Connect is designed to close that gap, with learning that does not stop at ideas but moves into habits, decisions and everyday practice.
The platform offers short, cinematic classes that pair expert insight with a single practical step to try each week. Each class is filmed to a high production standard and built around concise episodes, usually between seven and twelve minutes. Every episode ends with one clear action step, a small practice to carry into the week, supported by a downloadable guide. Classes are grouped into three areas: Faith and Formation, Life and Wellbeing, and Work, Leadership and Service.

Newbold College Principal, Dan Serb said, “For 125 years Newbold has formed people for faithful living in a changing world. Newbold Connect carries that conviction into a new form. It is for the person who wants their faith to shape how they work, lead and live, not just how they worship.”
Newbold Connect launches with a growing library taught by scholars and practitioners with deep connections to Newbold College. Further classes will be added in the coming weeks. The platform is built on the College’s academic, theological and safeguarding frameworks, with quality assurance and senior leadership oversight.
Users can start their free journey with access to the first episodes of the entire library. An annual membership costs £139 but is currently available at a launch price of £99, payable in monthly instalments. Individual classes can also be bought, and students receive a reduced annual rate. A limited number of founding memberships are available to support the platform’s mission. Payment in Euros is also accepted.
Newbold Connect is available now at newboldconnect.com.
