A new chapter in Adventist mission and media opened in Poland on 29 March 2025, as leaders, members, and employees gathered at the Michał Belina-Czechowski School of Theology and Humanities in Podkowa Leśna, to inaugurate Hope Media Poland. This newly established institution unites the Church’s publishing, broadcasting, and training ministries, aimed at expanding outreach across print, radio, television, and digital platforms. In an era of rapid media evolution, Hope Media Poland represents a bold step to strengthen the Adventist message and reach wider audiences with hope.

The thanksgiving service drew guests from across the country, including former employees of the four historic institutions now merging into the new entity. Pastor Tadeusz Niewolik, appointed director of Hope Media Poland, described the occasion as both a time of worship and reflection on God’s guidance through decades of mission work. “We gather not only to look back in gratitude but also to seek His direction for the future,” he affirmed.

“Our aim”, said Pastor Niewolik, “is to continue the legacy of our print, radio, television, and digital platforms, while embracing new outreach opportunities.”

The programme included a series of short films retracing the rich history of the institutions that have shaped Adventist mission outreach in Poland: The Signs of the Times Publishing House, The Correspondence Bible School, Correspondence School for a Better Life, and The Voice of Hope Radio and Television Centre.

The Signs of the Times Publishing House—founded in 1921—played a pivotal role in uniting believers and advancing evangelistic efforts through successive relocations from Bydgoszcz to Warsaw, Kraków, and beyond. The challenges of wartime and communist censorship shaped much of its story. After the screening, Pastor Mirosław Harasim, director of the publishing house, and editor-in-chief Pastor Andrzej Siciński shared reflections on God’s sustaining hand through decades of service.

The Correspondence Bible School and Correspondence School for a Better Life—established by Pastor Emanuel Beret—reached tens of thousands through postal Bible courses from centres in Warsaw, Podkowa Leśna, and Bielsko-Biała. Long-time staff member Lucyna Kurz highlighted how students, many facing personal challenges, were introduced to the Gospel message and found strength through these lessons. She also pointed to the relevance of recent course offerings on depression, stress, and emotional well-being.

The Voice of Hope Radio and Television Centre began broadcasting about 50 years ago. During the communist era, it provided a rare uncensored source of biblical teaching, fostering spiritual exploration. Later partnerships with Adventist World Radio expanded both its reach and professionalism.

In his remarks, Pastor Niewolik outlined how Hope Media Poland will continue the legacy of these institutions while embracing new outreach opportunities. He called on church members to support the initiative through prayer, financial gifts, and active involvement, so that the message of hope can touch as many lives as possible.

A highlight of the morning was the sermon by Pastor Jarosław Dzięgielewski, President of the Polish Union Conference, entitled Artists and Accountants. Using the metaphor of artists who serve visibly and accountants who work behind the scenes, he underscored that every contribution—whether prominent or unseen—plays an essential role in God’s mission. Referencing  1 Corinthians 3:7, he reminded listeners that spiritual growth ultimately comes from God, not human effort. “Whatever you do, if done with full dedication, you can be sure of one thing—it is a miracle,” he said, urging all to continue their calling as instruments of hope faithfully.

The programme also featured a thanksgiving concert with soloists Michalina Moro and Marta Słociak-Wiśniewska, accompanied by Marta Gillner and Beata Górska-Słociak.

Throughout the day, gratitude and a sense of unity permeated the gatherings. The stories of past and present employees who had shaped the publishing, media, and education ministries were honoured, and many participants shared memories of service and perseverance. There was a shared conviction that the God who had guided the Church thus far would continue to bless the new chapter under Hope Media Poland.
