Fathers, a warm-hearted documentary showing how different and yet how similar fathers are all over the world, has been recently nominated for the “Best Documentary” category at the International Christian Film and Music Festival (ICFF).

ICFF is one of the largest Christian film Festivals in the world. ‘Fathers’ will be competing with twelve other documentaries from around the globe. The award ceremony, a 5-day event with over 32 guest speakers, will take place in Florida, USA, in May.

The documentary is the brainchild of the GAiN Europe network and was directed by Adrian Duré, a producer and filmmaker at Hope Media Europe. “It is a great opportunity to spread the amazing and positive message of authentic fatherhood, and to bring more visibility to our projects, our Church and the message of hope,” said Duré.

Producing the documentary involved an international team with contributions ranging from Cuba to Australia. “The multicultural component is the essence of the network film productions,” reflected Duré. “‘Fathers’ was recorded and produced in six different countries, by six different production teams! This is a huge logistic challenge, especially when working remotely. But, with clear communication and trust in your production teams, everything is possible!”

‘Fathers’ has received 13 “official selections” and nominations over the last three years, including a special commendation at the 22nd Religion Today Film Festival, in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy.
