21 April 2016 | St Albans, UK [Graham Barham]  On Wednesday, 20 April, 2016 Adventist Risk Management (ARM) – the insurance of the Church together with the Trans-European Division (TED) assembled as colleagues and friends to celebrate Denise Cuthbert’s life of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Staff went the second-mile to decorate the TED boardroom and make the day special for Denise who retires at the end of April after 47 years of dedicated service.

Denise Cuthbert
The daughter of missionary parents, Denise spent the first two years of her working life supporting the East African Union based in Kenya before moving to what is now the TED office in St Albans, England. Ten years later she moved to the office next door to support Adventist Risk Management, a role which she maintained for the next 35 years.

Denise Cuthbert, Graham Barham and Audrey Andersson
Graham Barham (ARM Regional Manager for Africa and Europe) expressed appreciation to Denise on behalf of the Company for her life of dedicated service. He even went as far as to break with his ‘stiff-upper-lip British tradition’ and give her a warm hug of genuine thanks for all she has done.

Those thanks were further emphasised by the newly elected President/CEO of Adventist Risk Management, Tim Northrop. Visiting the office in his new role he personally thanked Denise for her service to the Church and ARM.

Denise was presented with floral tributes by both Audrey Andersson (TED Executive Secretary) and Graham who also presented her with an engraved crystal vase for her 35 years of faithful service with ARM.

On behalf of the whole ARM and TED family, Graham wished Denise all the very best for her retirement and expressed the wish that her well-deserved retirement would prove a satisfying and fruitful experience to both Denise and all those with whom she comes into contact. [tedNEWS]
