Two young people were baptised at the Budapest Práter Street Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hungary on 7 February, in a Sabbath service that brought together worship, music and fellowship for members and guests. Csilla Molnár and Jonatán Márffy publicly expressed their commitment to Christ during the morning worship service, witnessed by the congregation gathered in prayerful support.

The baptismal service was led by László Balázs, together with Zsombor Henter, pastor of the Budapest Práter Street Adventist Church. Church members committed to supporting the two newly baptised members as they begin their journey of faith.

The occasion was strengthened by the presence of the Advent Brass Band, whose members travelled from various parts of Hungary to contribute to the service through music. Their ministry added to the reflective and celebratory atmosphere of the morning.

In the afternoon, the congregation continued the day’s programme with its initiative known as Hot Dog Night. The event provided an opportunity for members and visitors to share a meal, build relationships and spend time in conversation. More than just a social gathering, organisers described the initiative as being part of the church’s commitment to nurturing fellowship alongside worship. Members said the Sabbath highlighted the importance of supporting one another and strengthening community bonds.
