Every year, the Trans-European Division (TED) and the Inter-European Division (EUD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church host GAiN Europe, an event designed to inspire, train, and connect church communication professionals from across divisions and beyond. This year’s conference will be held in Budva, Montenegro, from 15-19 November 2024, with a special emphasis on supporting young Christian digital creatives.

Recognising that younger influencers and media enthusiasts often find it financially challenging to attend such events, TED and EUD created Special Funding for Young Creatives. Through a reel competition, they invited these young professionals to showcase how they share their faith on social media. Up to 10 winners from across the divisions and Ukraine will have all their expenses covered to attend GAiN Europe.

Following the launch of the competition in June 2024, TED is pleased to announce the winners:

  1. Ryan Daly (UK)
  2. Nemanja Jurišić (Serbia)
  3. Miljan Dukić (Serbia)
  4. Liubov Zamorska (Ukraine/Poland)
  5. Timi Bahun (Slovenia)

More about GAiN Europe

In 2023, GAiN Europe expanded its scope in both breadth and depth. In addition to inviting Adventist communicators from both the TED and EUD divisions, the event also welcomed representatives from the Euro-Asia Division and Ukraine. Moreover, content was specifically tailored for specialists in Adventist Mission and Personal Ministries, marking a significant step towards encouraging collaboration across different church departments and ending the “silo” mentality.

This year, alongside the young creatives, GAiN Europe is also inviting Publishing Ministries leaders, aiming to foster synergy in ministry projects.
