Each month Adventist News Network (ANN) runs an in-depth extended interview with a church leader of interest. ANN anchor Alyssa Trueman recently interviewed former Trans-European Division Executive Secretary Audrey Andersson. The title, “From Dublin to Maryland”, tells Andersson’s story, the formative years, the theological training – but ending up with a job in the secular world, to the “I can do more with my life than think up good ideas to market a magazine…” And why was the 1992 TED Budapest Youth Congress the moment and the place never to be forgotten?

In a moving and faith-affirming interview, Audrey (as she is known to the many TED members she describes as a family) shares the experience of losing her husband Lars killed in an accident. “And tell me about Cyprus,” requests Trueman. And Audrey shares what happened on October 23rd 2017. “And so began a different journey… but what I will say is that I have seen the goodness of God over the last six and a half years… (and) I can honestly say that the Lord has been so good, so gracious, I can do nothing but praise God and say ‘thank you’ for the way he has been with me.”

The conversation is available in both video and audio format.
