24 March 2015 | Novi Sad, Serbia [Marija Trajkovska, tedNEWS] More than 960 participants from the South-East European Union (SEEUC) and Adriatic Union (AUC) gathered together in the Master center of Novi Sad Fair in Serbia, to take part in the International Bible Conference, on March 15 – 16, 2015.

The presidents of the two Unions, Djordje Trajkovski (SEEUC) and Zlatko Musija (AUC) welcomed the conference participants – pastors, church elders, leaders, lay members, and guest speakers – during the short opening ceremony. After an inspiring brief address, Janos Kovacs Biro, the Ministerial Association Director of the Trans –European Division said a special prayer for the guest speakers.

The main theme of the conference “Your word is… a light to my path” was further enlightened in morning and evening devotionals, presentations and workshops taken by the six guest speakers from the General Conference and Andrews University: Dwight Nelson, Angel Rodriguez, Ranko Stefanović, Nikolaus Satelmajer, Wagner Kuhn and Artur Stele.

The music group “Vesnik” helped the participants to learn the theme song “Your word is a light”, which could be heard in the halls and corridors of the Master Center throughout the weekend.

Well known Bible truths were reinforced in a deeper way and a new perspective was brought on those less known. A better understanding of the preaching principles and mission, together with prayers and fellowship were just some of the benefits and blessings the participants gained.

Preparing to go back to their own churches, participants were faced with the decision to commit their hearts to Jesus and follow His words. They were confronted with the crucial question of Artur Stele’s closing devotional: Where does the highway of your life lead? Upward to God and life or down away from God to the disaster like Samson’s and Jonah’s?

The answer resounded in the theme song sung in a loud voice by all participants “Your word is… a light to my path.” [tedNEWS]
