Working on a combination of activities leading up to the day, the youth took to the main high street in Reykjavik on Sabbath, handing out small food gifts with a special Bible verse message attached. Members of the public were surprised to receive the free gift. However, this created an opportunity for them to share the GYD concept and the scale of this worldwide programme.

Reporting from Greece:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl6ekYUnzeo

The impact of each Global Youth day is huge and continues to build long after the event is over.
