This has been a very different year and many lockdown rules called for new ways of fundraising.
The \u2018Everyone involved\u2019 programme on 14 November will mark the end of the international Adventist week of prayer and ADRA\u2019s ingathering campaign \u2018Hjelpeaksjon\u2019.<\/p>\n
Adventist church in Norway, in cooperation with Hope Channel and Adventist Relief Agency (ADRA), came up with an idea to have people from all the churches around the country gather to watch a special programme online. With the latest restriction rules, they are encouraged to join in the programme from the comforts of their homes and use the ADRA Norway Facebook page<\/a> as the platform to communicate with each other.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThere is no doubt that this year we have been concerned regarding the annual appeal and the fundraising,\u201d explains Gry Hauge, ADRA Norway communication director. \u201cUsually, we would go from door to door fundraising through August and September, but we were quite sorry that we could not do that at many places this year.\u201d However, the pandemic has not stopped the creativity and the joy of doing something for others and many have already contributed to the ADRA fundraising campaign \u201cHjelpeaksjon\u201d. <\/p>\n The two-hour programme on Saturday, 14 November will be streamed from an Adventist church in Mj\u00f8ndalen with live features and video clips from numerous places in Norway, including an online auction. The auction will offer a colourful painting \u2018Everyone involved\u2019 painted for this occasion by artist Anne Valen N\u00e6ss, a photograph of a cheetah by nature photographer Tom Schandy, a vegetarian cooking course by journalist and cookbook author Bj\u00f8rn Olav Nordahl, and much more. \u201cThe goal is for everyone to be involved.
