2 December 2016 | St Albans [Victor Hulbert]  Just one year on since elected, and six months since he started full time as Health Ministries director for the Trans-European Division, Torben Bergland talks with Victor Hulbert about his role, his expectations and how he believes that the Health Ministries department can make a difference.<\/p>\n

\"Torben<\/a>Bergland tells how he wanted to serve the church, so when he was given the call it seemed quite natural for him. \u201cMy passion and heart has been with the church, always,\u201d he says.  https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Tawc2DV13AU&feature=youtu.be<\/a><\/p>\n

As a psychiatrist and a medical doctor, he says his aim is to be of service for people \u2013 both church members and the community at large. His holistic approach to life aims at making our daily quality of life better \u2013 including our level of happiness. Working together with the Ministerial and Family life departments, he is also looking at ministerial health and the issue of burnout.<\/p>\n
