The Hungarian Union Conference\u2019s<\/a> (HUC) launch centred on prayer, with a five-hour online prayer meeting<\/a>. Each hour included a short sermon, information about evangelistic initiatives, videos, interviews and prayer.<\/p>\n HUC President Tam\u00e1s \u00d3csai opened the programme with a biblical reflection, followed by four other speakers during the evening. The livestream was shared on several Facebook pages and groups, enabling members in Hungary and the Hungarian diaspora to participate together. HUC leaders emphasised that 5 September was not the culmination of the initiative, but the beginning of a year in which members and churches would prepare spiritually, learn new ways of sharing Jesus, create content and strengthen the spiritual pathway from online interest to a local church community.<\/p>\n The British Union Conference<\/a> (BUC), together with the South England Conference<\/a> (SEC), launched the initiative at the London Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Church in the UK. Cathy Baldeau, BUC Communication & Media Director, and Pastor Kwadwo Kwarteng-Ampofo, SEC Personal Ministries Director, participated in the launch, encouraging members to recognise mission as the responsibility of the whole church.<\/p>\n The BUC also released a video<\/a> with the invitation, \u201cThe UK is in. Are you?\u201d The video formed part of wider online activity through which churches, organisations and individual members shared about the OneVoice27 initiative. The Irish Mission<\/a> similarly published a launch video<\/a> that presented the worldwide initiative as a call for local commitment.<\/p>\n The day after the launch, Grantham Seventh-day Adventist Church participated in a community event at the nearby Belton House\u00a0in the UK. Returning for its third year, the church used a distinctive red gazebo displaying its name, accompanied by flags and other promotional materials carrying their \u201cBecause You\u2019re Loved\u201d message. Free health checks, creative activities and gifts helped the team begin conversations and build friendships with visitors. Children painted pebbles carrying messages of kindness. Jenny Johnson, one of the organisers, also produced small prayer and gratitude boxes containing notelets and pencils for people to record their prayers or moments of thankfulness.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want to share love, not only with one another in church, but also with our community in many different ways,\u201d said Johnson.<\/p>\n Sheryl Davidans, another church member, added, \u201cWe\u2019re proud that we can represent not just the church, but the Lord, especially with the kickstart of OneVoice27.\u201d<\/p>\n In Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the South-East European Union Conference<\/a> (SEEUC) began its OneVoice27 journey alongside the local church. SEEUC President Dragan Gruji\u010di\u0107 and Media Director Veljko Milo\u0161evi\u0107 participated in the launch. Milo\u0161evi\u0107 described the initiative as an opportunity to connect and encourage members while uniting them around a shared vision.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we act together and speak with one voice, we can accomplish much more and become a strong example of unity and faith,\u201d he said. \u201cI look forward to what lies ahead and believe that OneVoice27 will bear good fruit in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere across the Division, churches and organisations used online platforms to introduce the initiative in their local language. The official Adventist social media account in the Netherlands invited members to join the worldwide launch<\/a>, while churches and media platforms in Poland shared information in Polish. A congregation in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Poland<\/a>, used the local public-facing hashtag #JestNadzieja, meaning \u201cThere is hope\u201d, illustrating how the central message is beginning to take shape in different languages and cultural contexts.<\/p>\n The launch followed months of preparation in other parts of the TED. Ahead of the launch, the Croatian Conference organised OneVoice27 training<\/a> in Maru\u0161evec, Croatia, from 8 to 12 July. In Albania, pastors have met regularly since April<\/a> to develop a shared strategy that combines prayer, Bible study resources, member training, community activities, and contextualised digital content.
