The General Conference (GC) Office of Adventist Mission is launching a new integrated digital platform at AdventistMission.org<\/a> that brings together mission stories, videos, resources, initiatives, and breaking mission news. Featuring the broad range of the Seventh-day Adventist Church\u2019s mission endeavours, it also focuses on Global Mission\u2019s groundbreaking initiatives to reach unreached people groups and start new groups of believers.<\/p>\n Launched June 1 and continuing to roll out this summer, AdventistMission.org consolidates multiple mission-focused resources into a single digital home. \u201cFor years, mission stories were often experienced separately through magazines, videos, television programs, or individual websites,\u201d said Earley Simon, Communication Projects manager for Adventist Mission. \u201cThis new platform helps bring those experiences together.\u201d Adventist Mission plans to increase the number of languages in which mission resources are available.<\/p>\n \u201cOur church was created for mission to the world,\u201d said Rick McEdward, executive secretary of the GC. \u201cI\u2019m delighted that amazing and abundant mission stories will be more accessible. Stories such as those on this new website have inspired families to be missionaries for generations.\u201d<\/p>\n Rather than simply presenting a single article or video, the new site is designed to help users discover related stories, interviews, educational resources, and historical content connected to the same themes, regions, projects, and mission initiatives.<\/p>\n \u201cOur goal was not simply to build a website, but to create a simpler and more user-centred experience,\u201d said Simon.<\/p>\n The AdventistMission.org platform is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church\u2019s broader Adventist.Cloud<\/a> initiative that supports collaboration and digital ministry across church entities. \u201cIt\u2019s a joy to welcome Adventist Mission into the Adventist.Cloud family of platforms,\u201d says Richard Stephenson, associate treasurer of the GC. Stephenson, who oversees technology strategy and operations at the GC, points to Adventist Mission\u2019s \u201cfront-line mission focus, their pioneering work, and their call to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people.\u201d He adds, \u201cThe technology is never the mission; it is the bridge, and a website does not make a disciple, but it opens a digital door.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to see the new website up and running!\u201d said Gary Krause, director of Adventist Mission. \u201cIt\u2019s better than ever\u2014a one-stop mission site for church members, pastors, and leaders. You\u2019ll find stories, mission news, photos, videos\u2014everything you need to inform, inspire, and challenge you regarding the church\u2019s worldwide mission.
