Conference leaders say this diversity is a strength, and that it brings a responsibility to serve communities with compassion, justice and love in practical and visible ways.

Members of the ADRA-UK team speak with event attendees at the organisation’s exhibition stand during the Evangelism Expo

Throughout the day, ADRA-UK engaged attendees at its exhibition stand, demonstrating how humanitarian action and gospel mission go hand in hand. ADRA translates God’s love into action, from crisis response to community development, supporting the vulnerable, restoring dignity, and empowering churches to serve their communities more effectively.

The Evangelism Expo also provided an opportunity to highlight the role of local ADRA Ambassadors, church members who act as the link between their local congregations and national ADRA-UK initiatives. These ambassadors are equipped with a welcome pack, mission training resources and a supportive network to mobilise church involvement and strengthen community impact. Churches are encouraged to appoint an ADRA Ambassador, and where possible, an ADRA Youth Ambassador to work alongside them. Once appointed, ambassadors can register with ADRA-UK to receive ongoing support and mission-focused resources.

As churches seek to serve diverse communities across the South England Conference, ADRA-UK continues to support and inspire them to live out compassion, love and justice in their daily witness.

[Photos: Courtesy of the British Union Conference Communication Department]

The original version of this article was posted on the British Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church website.

[7,1588

post-25392","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-united-kingdom-ireland
["GET
