The Hispanic Adventist community in London has celebrated its most significant baptismal moment in more than four decades after 20 people were baptised at the close of Hope Week<\/em>, a week-long evangelistic series held from 25 October to 1 November. Led by the Central London Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Southeast Hispanic Company, a growing Adventist congregation in London, the programme brought together members and visitors for a week of worship, prayer, and learning.<\/p>\n

The evangelistic series united spiritual revival with emotional and relational support through messages presented by guest speaker Pastor Jos\u00e9 Saavedra and his wife, psychologist Andrea Mu\u00f1oz, both from Colombia. Their presentations emphasised God\u2019s power to restore and transform lives.<\/p>\n

The average nightly attendance exceeded 110 participants, with individuals gathering for Bible-based sermons, prayer, testimonies and fellowship. Organisers noted that the response reflected not only the commitment of the members but also a strong interest from friends and visitors.<\/p>\n

The historic baptismal service was officiated by Pastor Luis Fajardo, who recognised the scale and significance of the moment for the London Hispanic Adventist community. \u201cThis is the fruit of many prayers and the united effort of leaders and members across our district [of churches],\u201d said Fajardo. \u201cWe praise God for this tremendous victory and for what the Holy Spirit continues to do in London.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside the twenty who were baptised, ten more individuals are now preparing to take this step in December, indicating continued spiritual momentum following the week-long outreach.<\/p>\n

The success of the initiative reflects the collaboration across the district of churches, with volunteers, ministries and small-group leaders working together to share the gospel of hope with the local community.<\/p>\n

With more people engaging in Bible studies and preparing for baptism, local church leaders believe this moment marks the beginning of a renewed evangelistic movement among London\u2019s growing Hispanic population. \u201cWe move forward in faith,\u201d Fajardo concluded. \u201cThis is just the start of what God desires to do in our city.\u201d<\/p>\n
