Children from Limerick Seventh-day Adventist Church led the worship service on Saturday 4 October, with a dramatic retelling of the Israelites\u2019 journey from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land in Canaan.<\/p>\n

Replacing the usual sermon, the programme featured a series of short dramatised scenes depicting key moments from the biblical Exodus story. The children portrayed the hardship of slavery, the crossing of the Red Sea, the provision of manna from heaven, Rahab\u2019s act of faith, the fall of Jericho\u2019s walls, and the final entry into Canaan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that children have a powerful way of sharing God\u2019s Word in their own way,\u201d said Carla Tiltscher, leader of the Children\u2019s Sabbath School Department at the Limerick Seventh-day Adventist Church. \u201cSometimes people may wonder why the children are speaking in place of the pastor. But this is part of teaching them to serve and express their faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

For some children, the programme marked their first time speaking or leading at the front of church. Yet their enthusiasm reminded us that \u201cGod can use every member, young and old, to share His message,\u201d said Ellie Fortunato, who wrote about the event.<\/p>\n

The children\u2019s retelling of the Exodus story served as the central feature of the worship service, offering a vivid reminder of God\u2019s leading and the importance of faith and service at every age.<\/p>\n
