17 June 2016 | Binfield, England [Victor Hulbert]  Churches in England, France, Italy and America will be skyping live with Adventist representatives at Dunkirk refugee camp, France, during morning worship, Sabbath, 18 June. Seventh-day Adventist Churches across the world are taking special time that day to pray for and focus on the estimated 60 million refugees currently scattered across the planet.<\/p>\n

\"Dunkirk-cooking\"<\/a>A consortium of the local Dunkirk church, ADRA France, AWR and Newbold church in Binfield, England, have been providing support for the refuges there since 2012 \u2013 starting from very small beginnings in the back of the local church to a more established and well recognised presence on the site today.<\/p>\n

Daryl Gungadoo, R&D engineer at AWR has taken a personal interest in the refugee crisis and has led the initiative to develop a live skype conversation with several churches that have been passionate in supporting refugees.<\/p>\n

Daryl will be joined by Corrado Cozzi, Inter-European Division Communication director, who will host conversations with three churches in Italy, Yves Senty, AWR region director, who will skype with the central church in Paris, and Victor Hulbert, Trans-European Division Communication director, who will host conversations with Newbold church<\/a> (Contemporary and Family Services, Brixton<\/a> and Brighton churches in the UK, and Spencerville church<\/a>, Maryland, USA, another church that has directly involved itself in the refugee crisis.  <\/p>\n

Pastor Andrew Davis will be the preacher at the Newbold Contemporary service, and has organised the entire service to focus on refugee issues in the lead up to World Refugee Day on Monday, 20 June. The service will be live streamed<\/a> and will later be available on demand.<\/p>\n
