Developed under the leadership of Delaverne (Del) Baxter and Melita Pazitka, the project was born out of a desire to produce Christ-centred music that children could personally relate to and use as a witnessing tool. The project features nearly 40 children aged 1–10, supported by the teens, youth and the wider church community.

“The objective was to create a resource that children can use to talk to their friends about God,” said Baxter, composer of We Are the Kingdom. “Instead of always looking to YouTube for kids’ songs, they’ve now created something themselves that they can truly relate to. This leaves a legacy and reminds them that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them, even though they are young.”

Community Spirit Fuels the Vision

The production brought together not only the children but also so many from the church.
