As delegates gather\u00a0in St Louis, Missouri, USA, for the 62nd General Conference Session, awaiting them at the Trans-European Division (TED) Exhibition Hall booth will be a one-time special 12-page print edition of Harvest Times,<\/em> sharing highlights from tedNEWS<\/em> over the past three<\/span> years. As TED Officers explain in their welcome message:<\/p>\n

“Since the last GC Session, much has changed in our world, but one truth remains steadfast: the <\/em>Lord of the harvest has continued to work in different hearts and various communities across <\/em>our 28 countries and territories, calling us to faithfulness, creativity, and mission. From the northern lights of Iceland to the warm shores of Cyprus, <\/em>from the bustling city streets of London <\/em>to quiet church halls in Lithuania, the Spirit has been moving mightily. <\/em><\/p>\n

In these few pages, you will find stories of resilience and renewal, of discipleship and innovation, of lives touched and transformed. You will meet people and read about projects that reflect the unique diversity and unity of our Division. You will witness how the gospel continues to bear fruit in new and unexpected ways and even in unexpected places.”<\/em><\/p>\n

A Legacy of Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n

The inspiration for this edition of Harvest Times<\/em> reaches back to the past. In July 1990, Jan Paulsen and his team produced a special one-off issue for the 55th GC Session in Indianapolis. Now, 35 years later and in the year of his 90th birthday, the TED created this issue as a tribute to his leadership.<\/p>\n
