In cooperation with the Finland Union of Churches Conference, Hope Channel Finland released major updates to their <a href=\"https:\/\/hopechannel.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hopetv.fi<\/a> website to better engage with secular audiences.<\/p>\n<p>With nearly 100 hours of free content, and eBooks &#8211; including a brand-new Finish translation of Ellen White\u2019s classic, <em>The Great Controversy<\/em>, this upgrade will serve in introducing viewers without a religious background to the basic teachings of Christianity, and to Jesus. With <em>ReactJS<\/em> technology &#8211; similar to that used by Netflix, and\u00a0 beautiful new productions, <a href=\"https:\/\/hopechannel.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hopetv.fi<\/a> is stepping up and offering a unique service.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11962\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11962\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11962 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8.jpg 630w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8-500x280.jpg 500w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-8-350x197.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11962\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">HopeTV offers free eBooks like &#8216;The Great Controversy&#8217;, which was recently translated into Finish.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In preparation for the launch, a new booklet has been created, in collaboration with other entities, and distributed explaining the main teachings of Christianity in everyday language.\u00a0 \u201cDistributed free of charge to every Finnish household, that adds up to more than 2 million copies,\u201d said Dr Timo Flink, speaker director of Hope Channel Finland, and Communication director for the Finland Union.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are expecting many people to visit our website for the first time as the result of the booklet and advertising campaign\u201d, Flink continued. \u201cIt\u2019s our prayer that as many as possible will find Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour through our programmes freely available to anyone.
