Surrounded by pristine lakes and misty mountains, participants of all ages enjoyed a variety of activities, from water skiing to bonfires, and from choir singing to Bible studies at the Living Water Summer Camp 2022, set in the stunning Telemark region of Norway.<\/p>\n

Sharing stories by the fire<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

An international team of speakers inspired the attendees to take time to study Revelation in depth. Pastor Craig Gooden, Director of the PEACE Centre of Evangelism, Lasse Flinker, a Bible worker with a passion for nature and sharing the Gospel, and pastor\/evangelist Daniel Pel, led the congregation to study Revelation, chapters 12 to 22. \u201cThe meetings breathed hope and reminded us that we are pilgrims on our way to a better home,\u201d said event organiser, Silvia Pel.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gospel fills people with enthusiasm, and we saw this in the meetings and the social activities too,\u201d Pel continued. \u201cSeekers and new believers attended the camp and their passion and first love for Jesus was infectious.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sabbath (Saturday) afternoon programme provided opportunity for participants to share their testimonies. \u201cIn a full hall, with 400 people present it was inspiring to listen to powerful stories about God\u2019s leading. Pel shared.<\/p>\n

Teens enjoyed specially tailored activities, including workshops on media literacy, emotional wellbeing, and wise relationships. As camp came to an end, Rebekka Solberg, a young person, decided to accept Jesus as her Saviour \u00a0and was baptised.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the past months I have had the privilege of studying the Bible with Rebekka. She is a keen student with deep questions and thoughtful reflections,\u201d Pel said. Although she is the only Adventist in her school, and her family lives away from church, \u201cRebekka uses every opportunity to share her faith, through schoolwork and friends. Her courage and determination have won respect from both teachers and students.\u201d<\/p>\n
