Dr Peter Landless, General Conference (GC) Health Director, suggested this new opportunity to move during the three-minute time it took for the delegation to complete the electronic voting process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-11014 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2.jpg 630w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2-500x280.jpg 500w, https:\/\/ted.adventist.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/image-2-350x197.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a>After an inspiring devotional by Pastor Jongimpi Papu titled, \u201cWhat will You give me, and how will I inherit it?\u201d the day\u2019s business began in earnest, following a season of prayer. Pastor Ella Simmons, the outgoing first female general vice president of the GC, effectively chaired this technical and long business of recommendations, for the amendment of sections of the General Conference Constitution and bylaws following much discussion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The afternoon report began with the ninth report of the Nominating Committee \u2013 recommending the election of 13 division presidents. The announcement included a new president for the Trans-European Division\u00a0(TED) in the person of Dr Daniel Duda, previously Education Director and Field Secretary. Duda replaces Raafat Kamal who served the TED for a total of 14 years, 8 years as president.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the Division presidents were introduced to the delegates, General Conference president Elder Ted N. C. Wilson offered prayer for these leaders and their families. We share<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Robert Osei-Bonsu, President, West-Central Africa Division<\/li>\n<li>Daniel Duda, President, Trans-European Division<\/li>\n<li>Roger Caderma, President, Southern Asia-Pacific Division<\/li>\n<li>Ezras Lakra, President, Southern Asia Division<\/li>\n<li>Harrington Akombwa, President, Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division<\/li>\n<li>Glenn C. Townend, President, South Pacific Division<\/li>\n<li>Stanley Edilson Arco, President, South American Division<\/li>\n<li>Yo Han Kim, President, Northern Asia-Pacific Division<\/li>\n<li>Alexander Bryant, President, North American Division<\/li>\n<li>Mario Brito, President, Inter-European Division<\/li>\n<li>Elie Henry, President, Inter-American Division<\/li>\n<li>Blasious M. Ruguri, President, East-Central Africa Division<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nominating Committee also presented their report number 10 for the election of Division Secretaries and Treasurers, including a new Secretary for the TED in the person of Pastor Robert Csizmadia, currently serving as president of the Duna Conference, Hungarian Union, and re-electing Nenad Jepuranovic as Tresurer for the TED. ted<em>NEWS<\/em> will be providing further details of Csizmadia\u2019s ministry in the next edition.
