<\/a>In an open discussion session, led by Dejan Stojkovi\u0107, Youth Ministries director, students shared their appreciation for \u201cdeeply knowledgeable teachers\u201d and the \u201crelevant, eye-opening lessons\u201d. They also expressed gratitude for the \u201cfree counselling sessions available\u201d and the \u201ctasty food and accommodation\u201d provided. The student group also suggested they would like to have \u201cmore opportunities to serve in the local church\u201d and an opportunity to \u201cengage with other OYIMS students around the world.\u201d All feedback was very much appreciated as it allowed \u201cthe students to shape and design the programme,\u201d Stojkovi\u0107 remarked.<\/p>\n Students enrolled in the OYIMS programme, study the theory of mission at Newbold for three months, before heading to the respective mission fields to apply what they learnt. During the meeting, representatives from Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) offices across the TED territory, shared details about upcoming projects available to students, with a variety of opportunities available in Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus. Students can choose to help migrants and refugees, support social enterprises \u2013 like honey production and fabric recycling \u2013 or teach English as a second language.
