Challenges, Issues, Opportunities: Adventism in the 21st Century

27 - 28 May 2022

Centre for Ministry and Mission is pleased to announce the 2022 Bible Conference at Newbold Church on 27-28 May.

This year’s conference is Challenges, Issues, Opportunities: Adventism in the 21st Century. Our goal is to provide you with fresh insights into issues affecting Adventism as the Church continues its mission to fulfil God’s purpose.

“This is a great forum to explore faith, consider issues from both a biblical and Adventist perspective and inform our choices as faithful disciples. It is always good to have a biblical rationale for why we do what we do.”, said Dr Stephen Currow, the recently appointed Principal at Newbold. He will open the event with a keynote presentation titled Issues Facing Adventists Today on Friday, 27 May, at 19.00 local time. His talk will be live-streamed (for those unable to attend in person) on the College website and the Newbold Church website.

The Sabbath morning programme will feature dynamic presentations from Julian Thompson, Dr Ivan Milanov, Dr Laszlo Gallusz, and Marianne Thieme, followed by sermons by Dr Daniel Duda (in the Church Centre) and Jonathan Holder (in Salisbury Hall).
The afternoon session with presenters Dr Jan Barna and Pilira Zapita promises to provide more inspiring presentations. Dr John Baildam, Newbold’s former Principal, will lead a panel discussion, bringing the conference to its conclusion. Please see the programme details below.
